Sanya to set up info monitoring system to regulate seafood stall market

Sanya will set up an information monitoring system to regulate the city's seafood stall markets and promote the service level of the tourist consumer market, according to relevant authorities.

Sanya will deal with the rip-off phenomena caused by undefined information on the following 4 aspects.

Firstly, a price electronic publication screen will be set up to give real-time information about the seafood products such as the highest price, the pictures and related standards.

Secondly, they will popularize the electronic dish-ordering system which is able to deliver the consumption information such as menus and bills to the appointed consumers.

Thirdly, Sanya will set up an official recommended website for seafood industry and popularize the qualified seafood restaurants or stalls to visitors of Hainan in the form of phone messages.

Fourthly, the Sanya Industrial and Commercial Bureau and the Sanya Price Control Administration will collect real-time consumption information about the city's seafood stalls using an internet monitoring platform.

At present, 29 seafood stalls among 200 in Sanya have installed the electronic dish-ordering system. And they will get corresponding subsidies and special service training launched by the Sanya government.
