Six boats will once again contest the Volvo Ocean Race with the return of Team Sanya to the fleet for this morning's in-port race in Miami.
 
China's entry is back in the race after missing the end of leg five and all of leg six with a badly damaged vessel.
 
Helmsman New Zealander Richard Mason says despite being well off the pace in the overall standings, they believe they can still make a dent in others aspirations.
 
"Well we're just going to go for it. We view every race as a new opportunity to get out there and prove what the team's capable of."
Camper Team New Zealand is third in the overall standings, 15 points behind leaders Telefonica.
