The total tourism revenue hit RMB 6.8 billion in the first quarter of 2012 in Sanya.
 
According to Sanya Tourism Committee, Sanya received 3.1812 million visitors in the first quarter of 2012, up 7.64% year on year. Among them, the number of domestic tourists stood at 3.0625 miilion, up 8.1% year on year, while the number of oversea tourists stood at 118,700, down 3.4% year on year.

The total tourism revenue hit RMB 6.802 billion in the first quarter of this year, up 12.5% year on year. RMB 6.378 billion came from domestic tourists, up 15.7% year on year, while RMB 65 million came from oversea tourists, down 20.5% year on year.

In addition, the throughput of Sanya Phoenix International Airport reached 3.38 million at the same period, up 14.5% year on year.
