On 13th May, the phase III project of Sanya Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Hospital, namely, International Friendship TCM Sanatorium started construction officially.

Sanya International Friendship TCM Sanatorium is regarded as a municipal key project which was approved in 2004. The project covers an area of 23,125 square meters with a total investment of RMB 169. 26 million.

It will be built into a 14-floor TCM recuperation center which is completed with pharmacy, physical examination center, ultrasonic wave room, and other functional rooms. What’s more, supporting facilities like dewatering, electricity and fire fighting are on the construction list as well.
 
Deputy mayor Xu Zhenling said the launch of this project means a lot to the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as health care in Sanya. And it will contribute to the sustainable development of Sanya’s medical and health care.
