Martial arts by young monks prove popular in Nanshan Tourists Zone
Apart from the profound Buddhist cultures and picturesque sceneries, tourists in Sanya Nanshan Cultural Tourists Zone are also attracted by the brilliant martial arts preformed by young monks from Songshan Shaolin Temple in Henan.
According to the martial art coach Song Debang, these young monks aged from 10 to 17 find their internships in Sanya for a year. They perform the martial arts they have learnt and show martial art cultures to the tourists during their internships. The performances have become a cultural feast for the visitors from home and abroad.
Visitors who are interested in the martial arts can go and watch their performances in front of the Nanshan Leisure Villas for free. The performances begin at 8 p.m. every night.
