Sanya to subsidise RMB6,000 per year to units that open toilets to public
According to the Sanya Garden and Sanitation Administration on 9th May, Sanya is mulling giving subsidies of RMB 6,000 at most to social institutions that open their rest rooms to the public for free.
The move aims to solve residents and tourists’ inconvenience in using toilets and encourage social institutions to offer their rest hrooms for public use.
Institutions that open rest rooms to the public are expected to receive subsidies of RMB 3,000 to 6,000 every year. What’s more, inspections and assessments will be launched on these units at the end of the year. Those who score high in sanitation, facilities, management and degree of openness will be rewarded.
