According to the Sanya Tourism Committee, the exhibition of Sanya delegations has turned out to be a great success at Kazakhstan International Tourism Exhibition.

By the end of the exhibition, 6 travel agencies from Sanya have signed cooperation agreements with 500 local travel agencies in Kazakhstan. Incomplete statistics show the number of Kazakhstan tourists who visited Sanya in 2011 hit 50,000, second to that of Russia in Central Asia.

Hou Jiangping, the chairman of Sanya Shengda International Travel Agency, told a reporter that local travel agencies in Kazakhstan show great interest in Sanya’s tourism market. They believe the characteristic sunshine, beach and traditional Chinese medicine in Sanya will bring a promising future to bilateral cooperation.

Moreover, a chartered flight from the capital of Kazakhstan Astana to Sanya will be launched later this year.
