Nanshan scenic spot in Sanya
 
Statistics shows 3 tourism sites in Sanya, Nanshan scenic spot, Tianya Haijiao and Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, received a total of 26,100 visitors on 29th April. Meanwhile, the average occupancy rate of hotels in Sanya reached 63.7% on that day. Sanya has seen travel peak during May Day holiday.

Data from sample survey conducted by Sanya Holiday Office shows Nanshan scenic spot received 9,900 tourists on 29th April, up 23.76% year on year. Tianya Haijiao scenic spot also received 9,500 visitors on the same day, up 41.7% year on year. Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park saw 6,700 visitors, up 57.5% year on year.

According to employees of Nanshan scenic spot, the travel peak started from 10 a.m. on 29th April. Self-driving tourists and family tourists are the main stream visitors with roughly 1000 cars entered Nanshan scenic spot yesterday.

In addition, the average occupancy rate of hotels in Sanya reached 63.7% on 29th April, down 12.1% year on year. However, the quantities of hotel rooms saw a growth of 5.7% year on year.
