Sanya police successfully seized a theft gang at a hotel on Hexi Road during a campaign against the recent 21 burglary cases in some flats and communities in Sanya’s Hedong and Yuechuan Districts.

They seized a batch of tools, and retrieved 5 stolen cell phones, 7 watches, 1 gold bracelet, 1 silver necklace and 4 laptops.

Since January this year, the criminal gang headed by Sun fled to Sanya from Danzhou to commit housebreaking burglaries. They sold the stolen goods to jobless Mai, and bought methamphetamine with the illicit money.

At present, the suspects Sun (Male, 27, from Danzhou, Hainan), Fu (Male, 35, from Danzhou, Hainan), and Zheng (Male, 33, from Danzhou, Hainan) have been sent to compulsive isolated drug rehabilitation. And the suspect Mai (Male, 29, from Suixi, Guangdong) is under criminal detention. The case is now under further hearing.
