The duty-free products in Sanya Duty-free Store and Haikou Meilan International Airport Duty-free Store have brought floods of tourists to Hainan.
 
Mr. Zhuang, a tourist from Zhejiang province, said the prices of the duty-free products are half of that in shopping malls.

The two duty-free stores in Hainan have sold RMB1.6 billion products from April last year to March this year, and the shoppers have reached 795,000.

The charm of offshore duty-free products have driven the speedy increase of the imports of Hainan duty-free products, boosted the number of tourists and expanded the influence of Hainan International Tourism Island.

At present, the offshore duty-free products have become a highlight of Hainan tourism. Many travel agencies will list the duty-free stores on their schedules for Hainan travel.
