Sanya Phoenix Island sees 164 liner visits during winter & spring season
According to the Hainan Exit and Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, on 9th April, they completed the cruise inspection and quarantine work of Sanya Phoenix Island International Cruise Terminal during the winter and spring season by the end of 1st April, 2012.
A total of 164 cruise ship visits, with 231,000 passengers, visited the terminal during this period, ranking No.1 in number of cruise ship visits among China’s ports. The cruise ships came from 6 cruise companies including Star Cruise, Costa Cruises and Nippon Yusen Kaisha.

The Hainan Exit and Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau intercepted 30 kinds of harmful organisms during the inspection work. 97 batches of food and drink were checked with 3 batches of them being sent back for disqualification.
