Acute pancreatitis Russian tourist successfully rescued in Sanya hospital
Recently, a Russian tourist named Alex who suffered from acute pancreatitis successfully recovered after 14 days rescue and nursing care in Hainan Nongken Hospital in Sanya.
The 58-year-old Russian tourist was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Hainan Nong Ken Hospital in the early morning of 19th March after a treatment in a local hospital in Sanya.
Alex got coronary heart disease six years ago, and during his travel time in Sanya, he was on the verge of death suffering from acute pancreatitis with multiple system organ failure (MSOF).
According to the director of the ICU, the mortality rate of the disease is above 80% and even 100%. Alex is very thankful for the great medical technology and the excellent team spirit of Hainan Nong Ken Hospital when he was discharged from the hospital on 2nd April.
