Sanya high-speed rail to see passengers peak during Qingming Festival
According to Sanya Railway Station, all 18 ticket windows and 10 ticket vending machines have been opened up in preparation for the up coming passenger flow peak during Tomb Sweeping Day and the Boao Forum for Asia 2012.
Sanya Railway Department predicts that Hainan east high-speed railway will see passenger flow peak during Tomb Sweeping Day. The passengers will mainly consist of tourists, tomb-sweepers and the participants of the Boao Forum for Asia 2012.
Sanya Railway Station has been ready to greet the up coming passenger flow peak by arranging conductors in advance, opening up 18 tickets windows and 10 Tickets Vending Machines and setting a tourists information desk in the ticket hall. What’s more, the railway station also is organizing a volunteer group to provide free service to passengers in need.
The pre-sale period of regular trains is 10 days while the pre-sale period of high-speed trains on 30th Mar to 3rd Apr is 2 days. Passengers should take train tickets as well as ID cards when taking a trip as all trains stations will launch strict inspections on real name tickets from 4th April.
