“There’s nothing more beautiful than Wuzhishan’s Yahu Terraces”, “These are Wuzhishan’s most beautiful fields,” …. many of the photographers at Wuzhishan’s Yahu Terraces couldn’t stop remarking. On August 3rd, 150 photos of Yahu Terraces were put on display at Haikou’s Qilou old street, Zhongshan Road, providing a visual feast for Haikou residents.

The display is divided into 5 sections: The Sound of Spring, Brightness of Summer, Charm of Autumn, People of the Terraces, and Photographers and the Terraces; with a total of 150 pieces on display. Included in the exhibition are works by professional Hainan photographers, as well as works by photography enthusiasts. The photos on display show the mysteriousness and magnificence of the Yahu Terraces, the diverse ethnic customs of the people who live there, the long established traditions of the area, the active life of the residents, as well as record the results of the construction of Wuzhishan’s beautiful villages.

The Yahu Terraces are located about 4 kilometers outside Wuzhishan City, and cover an area of about 75 hectares. Shaped like the fingerprints of the five-fingered mountain, the beauty of the terraces’ curves and whorls is not to be missed.

This exhibit is jointly hosted by the Wushishan Information Department, the Wuzhishan City Literary Association, the Hainan Provice Photography Association, and the Haikou City Photography Association.

The exhibit will be open until August 11th.
