On the morning of 19th March, an Airbus A319 aircraft took off at Sanya Phoenix International Airport, marking the launch of Sanya-Nanning-Lanzhou air route. The new route will be operated by Beijing Capital Airlines every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
 
April is the traditional tourist off-season in Sanya, but this year, the number of tourists has seen a steady growth. To meet the needs of tourists in the north, many airlines plan to open or increase new flights, said the chairman of Sanya Tourist Association.
 
The other new air routes will be opened between late March and early April.
