The Sanya tourism delegation returns to Sanya today from Berlin Internationale Tourismus Borse (ITB) fruitfully. The “Multi-stop Tour” carried out by Sanya and HK received a warm welcome by Europeans.

Berlin Internationale Tourismus Borse (ITB) is one of the most prestigious tourism expositions in the world which is held annually in March. This year, the Berlin ITB attracted over 10 thousand exhibitors from 190 nations.

It is the sixth time that Sanya attended the ITB. Sanya exhibition area which covered 110 square meters stands opposite the China exhibition area. The Sanya tourism delegation combined Li culture, ocean culture and sports tourism together, arousing Europeans’ great interest.

Dr. Wolff, the CEO of a German company, spoke highly of the 8 Li girls’ eye-catching performance and believes that more Europeans will spend their holidays in Sanya.

In order to open up the European tourism market, the Sanya government cooperated with the Hong Kong Tourism Board to hold a “HK-Sanya, Multi-stop Tour” promotion conference in Berlin. More than 20 famous travel agencies attended the conference. Free air tickets and hotels were offered to attract European tourists to join in the “Multi-stop Tour”.
 
Sanya is known as a tropical vacation paradise while HK is reputed as a shopping paradise. The two cities’ cooperation will complement each other and give distinctive tourism experience to the European tourists, said an official of the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
