Sanya is urgent to build a large logistics base to meet the increasing demand as more domestic and international high-end tourists visit the city for tourism purchases.
 
According to experts, the commercial functions of Sanya city is still in its early stage. The shortage of a large logistics base has left some problems for the city’s commercial operation. Without a proper logistics storage base, the rising commodity prices during Spring Festival caused lots of inconvenience to the public.
 
To improve this situation, Sanya will speed up to work out a commercial network plan to set up a new base integrating functions like large shopping malls, professional commodity markets and brand discounted stores.
 
Tourism consumption demand is expected to increase further as the city is on the way to become a shopping paradise. Local officials suggested it is very necessary to construct a large, specialized and advanced regional logistics center near the newly opened Sanya Ring Expressway.
