Sanya to relocate fishing boats in Sanya Port for 2012 Hainan Rendez-Vous

To ensure the safety of yacht berths for the upcoming 2012 Hainan Rendez-Vous which is to be held in April, Sanya will set up regulations to manage the fishing boats in the city port.
At present, nearly 1,000 fishing boats dock at Sanya Port, among which 600 are registered from Danzhou, lingao, Dongfang and other provincial cities. These fishing boats have brought a lot of inconveniences as they all crowd at such a narrow place.
To provide a good water environment for the Hainan Rendez-Vous, various vessels like fishing boats, oil supply boats, transport ferries and sightseeing ships will be required to move out of the port or park at other city ports during the preparations for the exhibition.

Besides, in order to solve the remaining bottleneck for the development of Sanya Port, the city will redefine the port in 3 separate functions like cargo port, fishing port and ferry port and will have them distributed in different regions.
