The Sanya stage of the ITF Women’s Circuit will take place from March 10 – 18 in the coastal city of Sanya, on south China’s Hainan Island.
 
Organized by the Chinese Tennis Association and the Sanya People’s Government, the $25,000 tournament features women’s singles and doubles and has attracted some of the best junior players from about 30 countries and regions. Points won will count toward the players’ WTA rankings.
 
A number of ITF Women’s Circuit events have been held around China every year and have provided valuable opportunities to the nation’s rising stars.
