A new airbus plane flying from Tianjin airport landed in Haikou at 1:30PM 19th July, making it the fourth new airbus plane registered in Hainan by China Southern Airlines this year.

It is also the 20th new plane which has been put into Hainan market by China Southern Airlines as a way of accelerating the development of the Hainan international tourism island.

26 planes under China Southern Airlines have been registered in Hainan at present, with an annual passenger capacity of 6 million.

The operation of the new airbus plane will increase Hainan’s air passenger carrying capacity by 300,000 and generate around 5 million yuan of revenue.

According to Wang Zhen, the general manager of China Southern Airlines Hainan Branch, The airline plans to put another two new planes into the Hainan market by the end of this year. A total of 6 new planes will enter the Hainan market via China Southern Airlines this year.
