Sanya to give priority to new land supply for affordable housing
To manage the urban and rural space development and utilize the land resources, a new measure will be adopted by the Sanya government to give priority to new land supply for affordable housing.
To realize the goal of urban development, the city will be divided into 4 main areas. They are key areas for development, improvement, ecological preservation and strategic reserves.
According to the land-use plan, land area for residential property will increase to 171.19 hectares by 2015, among which affordable housing will be 104.6 hectares. Besides, new plans will entail construction of projects related to commerce, entertainment, education and science.
