Seamless transition from bus to rail is set to become a reality as the preliminary work for the project of the Sanya Bus Station Terminal to ease passengers transport along the East Ring Railway is underway, according to Sanya relevant authorities.
 
Sanya Bus Station Terminal, together with the Haikou Bus Station Terminal are the key projects on the provincial infrastructural development.
 
The site of the project will be located on the west of current Railway Station at Lizhizhou Area, which is designed be the national first-level transportation center consisting of long-distance bus station and public bus station.
 
With a total investment of 500 million yuan, the project is scheduled to start construction on the fourth quarter of this year and will be completed in 2014.
