Recently, over 50 Tai Chi enthusiasts from Russia gathered at Sanya Bay to practice Tai Chi led by Shenzhi, the Founder of the World Shenzhi Tai Chi General Association.
 
It has become an annual event held in Sanya since 2003 and the first batch of 50 practitioners followed Shen Zhi to Sanya to learn Tai Chi and promote Chinese martial arts. Every year, Tai Chi practice has brought over 500 international enthusiasts.
 
In addition to the attractive tropical natural scenery and warm climate, martial arts has attracted a lot of foreign tourists over the past 10 years, which has become a merging section of Sanya’s tourism.
