International qualifying for the prestigious Volvo China Open will stage on Luhuitou Golf Club in Sanya this year for the seventh consecutive time.
 
It is the first time that international qualifying comes to China. The course will open to players worldwide from March 6 to 7, 2012.

International qualifying is the 2nd stop for Volvo China Open Championship. The leading three scores over 36-hole individual tournament will qualify for the Volvo China Open which takes place in April in Tianjin.

The Volvo China Open offers a prize purse of RMB 20,000,000, which will attract a field of leading players from different countries and territories for in its 2012 season.
