The first batch of 42 BestAirport Intelligent service terminals were recently installed and put into service at Haikou Meilan International Airport.

They are installed at boarding gates, the arrival hall and the VIP Lounge to provide passengers with many free intelligent services including a flight information inquiry service, duty-free goods ordering service and tourism information inquiry service.

In addition, the BestAirport Intelligent service terminal, the software of which is based on the popular tablet computer the iPad, offers tourists a great amount of other information, including navigation, shopping guides, tourism destinations’ information, weather and traffic, news and entertainment.

It was jointly launched by the Hainan Tourism Development Committee and Haikou Meilan International Airport, and a total of 160 terminals are expected to be put into service.
