In order to promote safe and civilized tours, the Sanya government has recently issued rules and regulations on RV (Recreational Vehicle) parking and camping in the city.

According to the regulations, RVs (Trailer, Camper, or Motor Home) should park in designated places. RV’s are not allowed to park on sidewalks, beaches and green belts.

RV camping tourists are not allowed to cook with fire, barbecue, hook ups, set up tents, put up tables, and hang hammocks on public green belts, beaches and parking lots.

Tourists who bring pets along should obey pet rules and take good care of the pets. No pets are allowed in office area, service area and education area of public institutions, hospitals and schools. Pets are also not allowed in shopping malls, waiting rooms, theaters, libraries, exhibition halls and stadiums.

Tourists found in violation of rules may face removal from these facilities, and the possibility of legal action.
