The Haikou-Harbin direct express train arrived at the Liangshan stop.

At 9:13 am on July 5th, the first Haikou-Harbin direct express train K1122, which departed from the Haikou railway station on the afternoon of July 2nd, arrived at Harbin railway station.

The train passed through 12 provinces including Hainan, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Hubei, Henan, An’hui, Shandong, Hebei, Tianjin, Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang. The whole trip lasted more than 60 hours, covering a total distance of 4,400 kilometers.

Compared with flights, the direct express trains are more attractive to Sanya’s “snowbirds” who often come from the Chinese northern regions to get away from the cold, because of lower prices and more scenery along the jouney.
