The food prices in Sanya have returned to normal level after the weeklong Spring Festival holiday ended last week, reports sanya.gov.cn.

According the Sanya price bureau, during 29th Jan and 3rd Feb, the average price of vegetables, aquatic products, meat & poultry and edible oils fall by 7.9%, 10.6%, 0.13% compared with those before the Spring Festival golden week.

The average price of 48 kinds of vegetables was 3.8 yuan, fell 7.9% compared to the 4.1 yuan during the golden week. Chinese cabbage, lettuce, cucumber, bitter melon, Holland bean and caraway saw price declines last week, while lotus root and garlic chives saw price increases.
