Over 370 int’l journalists to report for Volvo Ocean Race Sanya Stopover
As of Thursday, more than 370 reporters from home and abroad have registered to report the event for Sanya Stopover of Volvo Ocean Race 2011-1, according to the media center of the VOR 2011-12.
Over 60 reporters from U.S., Brazil, Australia and Holland have confirmed to attend the event. In addition, 240 reporters invited by the Volvo Group and 70 reporters invited by the VOR Sanya Stopover organizing committee will arrive in Sanya and report this grand event.
At present, the reception work has rolled out. LCD broadcast platform has been set up in the media center and has been equipped with wired high-speed internet access and WiFi.
According to the official website of VOR, the six teams of VOR have entered South China Sea yesterday and the first team is expected to arrive at Sanya Luhuitou Peninsula Yacht Dock around 8:00am at the earliest and 4:00pm at the latest today.
