According to the Hainan Holiday Management Office, hotels in the province have seen a peak season of reservations since 21st Jan.

On 21st, the average hotel booking rate in Sanya and Wanning were over 50%. But from 24th to 26th Jan, the hotel booking rate will reach its peak, among which Sanya, Wanning, Qionghai and Haikou’s hotel’s booking rate are over 75%, 60%, 48% and 33% respectively. 
 
Starting from 21st Jan to 28th January, only 25% of the hotel rooms have been booked in Haikou. It will reach its peak on 24th and 25th Jan, which occupies up to 33.4% and 31.5 respectively.
 
In Sanya, more than 50% of the hotel rooms have been booked during the Spring Festival Golden Week, and more than 75% have been booked on 24th and 25th Jan, the second day and the third day of the Chinese Lunar Year 2012.
 
Besides, the average hotel occupancy rate in Qionghai is around 40% and 56% in Wanning.
 
In addition, according to the Haikou Meilan International Airport and Sanya Phoenix International Airpoirt, the fights booking rate from Haikou to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai are all over 90%, and will last until 28th Jan.
