Daily passenger traffic exceeds 40,000 at Sanya Airport during CNY travel rush
As of 17th Jan, the Sanya Phoenix International Airport received 425,600 passengers during the first ten days of the 2012 Spring Festival travel rush, which started on 8th Jan.
A total of 3,082 flights took off and landed at the airport during the 10 days, and the passenger volume reached 425, 600, up 14.06% and 8.76% respectively compared with the same period of last year.
The Sanya Phoenix International Airport has maintained full capacity since the travel rush started as the average daily flights reached 300 and the daily passenger traffic reached 40,000.
