The top 10 best tourist destinations for 2011 in China include: Lijiang, Sanya, Jiuzhaigou – Huanglong, Shangri-La, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Guilin, Chengdu, Beijing and Shanghai. And the top 10 best outbound tourist destinations for 2011 are: Maldives, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Paris, Bali Island, Hokkaido, Phuket Island, Vienna, Tahiti and Saipan.
 
The selection is the only ranking of its kind in China that is singly based on online voting. And it is currently rated as the most authoritative and influential top tourist destinations selection in China. The selection was first held in 2009.
