Hotel room availability are adequate in Haikou, Sanya, Qionghai and Wanning during the upcoming Spring Festival Golden Week, according to the Hainan Holiday Management Office.
 
At present, only 30-40% of the hotel rooms have been booked in Hainan’s major tourist cities and counties.
 
In Sanya, 70% of hotel rooms have been booked during 25th to 27th Jan, from the third day to the fifth day of the Chinese Lunar New Year. This year’s Spring Festival falls on 23rd Jan.
 
In addition, the booking rate of some of the star-rated hotels in Haikou reached 40% during the Golden Week.
