K11 brand plans to open art mall in Haikou
K11 Concepts Ltd opened Shanghai K11 Art Mall in the city, the brand's first art mall on the Chinese mainland.
"The brand merges art appreciation, environmental consciousness and, of course, shopping." said Adrian Cheng, executive director and joint general manager of Hong Kong-based New World Group and founder and chairman of K11.
Located on Huaihai Road, Shanghai K11 Art Mall features 38,000 square meters of retail area and 70,000 square meters of office space.
"In the next few years, the K11 brand and its multi-cultural lifestyle zone will expand to 10 locations across the country including Shenyang, Wuhan, Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Qingdao, Haikou and Ningbo," Cheng said. "The K11 brand will have more than 160,000 square meters of floor space combined."
Shanghai K11 has attracted 120 tenants, including Bally, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana and Max Mara.
