Sanya’s fiscal revenue hits RMB5 billion in 2011
Sanya government's general budget revenue reached 5 billion yuan in 2011, with a rise of 18.5% from the previous year, as revealed by Sanya Municipal Bureau of Finance on Jan.31st, reports 0898.net.
In 2011, the general budget revenue of the whole city stood at 8.44 billion yuan, up 14.2%. And the general budget expenditure reached 7.16 billion yuan in 2011, a year on year increase of 33.8%.
According to the bureau, property and tourism industry have contributed a lot to the surge in government revenues. Of the total fiscal revenue, 4.45 billion yuan is collected fom taxes, up 16.2% year on year and 550 million yuan from non-taxes, increased 40.2% year on year.
