Sanya has launched a campaign to regulate food markets with the coming of New Year 2012 and the traditional Spring Festival holiday, reports hinews.cn.

The Commerce and Industry Bureau of Sanya has established a supervising and regulating team on Sanya's food markets in an effort to guarantee the safety of food and ensure a healthy tourism market.
 
During the holidays, the team will crack down on fake products, illegal food additives, and other cheating behaviors in Sanya's seafood restaurants, tourist spots and tourist shopping venues.

The 2012 Spring Festival holiday will begin on 22nd Jan and last till 28th Jan, 2012.
