The 2013 Haikou Summer Art Season is to kick off on the evening of June 28, and last until October 1st.

The 3-month activity has three themed sections including international culture, premium & festival-celebrating culture and popular culture.

800,000 people are expected to attend the event, and more than 50 public cultural activities and art performances are to be displayed at the Haikou People Great Hall, Haikou ever green park, Haikou Mass Art Centre, Holiday Beachside Resort, Haikou arcaded streets scenic area and the People's Park.

The biggest draw of the 2013 Haikou Summer Art Season will be the international exhibits, and the first Haikou International Youth Arts Festival will be held during the event.
