Team Sanya’s move to hug the Madagascar coast is seeing them streak ahead on leg two of the Volvo Ocean Race to Abu Dhabi.

The Mike Sanderson skippered boat has jumped out to a massive 154 nautical mile lead over Team New Zealand’s Camper.

Sanya’s picked up a hefty low pressure system while the rest of the boats are making little progress in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Puma Racing is in third, six nautical miles behind Camper.
