Recently, Sanya has started to crack down on illegal tour boats to ensure tourists safety in Yalong Bay during the peak season.
 
On the first day of the campaign on Dec.1, authorities suspended operations of 10 tour boats which ran without safety licenses. And over 10 tourists were persuaded to cease their activities due to potential safety risks.
 
Officials with the Sanya Maritime Bureau said they will conduct very close monitoring and supervision activities to ensure the safety in the Yalong Bay tour fleets for the upcoming Spring Festival.
