As of November, home transaction sales in Sanya still remain the highest among 47 surveyed Chinese cities in the period of September and October with the government introducing measures to rein in the property market.

 

The transaction volumes of residential properties in 41 of the 47 monitored cities decreased over the same period of last year.

 

Out of 47 surveyed cities, only Dongguan, Shaoxing, Xiamen, Jinan, Kunming and Sanya have seen home sales higher than the same period last year. Among them, Sanya was No.1 with a 325.8% year-on-year increase in  transaction volume.

 

Besides, Sanya recorded the highest in the average transaction price that reached to 25,191 yuan per sqm. Other cities that recorded high home transaction price growth rates included Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu.
