With just 2 weeks remaining before the kick-off of Wanning International Surfing Festival 2011 on Oct. 25-30, the second edition of the event, final preparations are underway smoothly.

From Oct.25 to 30, one of the highlights for the festival is the Swatch Girl Pro China 2011, a World Qualifying 6-star stop on the ASP Women’s World to be unveiled at the Riyuewan, in which 32 top international female surfers come from globe will paddle out at the beach breaks to give their high performance there.

Although the festivity is scheduled to kick off on Oct.25, the successful hold last year has caught wide media attention home and abroad. Currently, 120 media are supposed to give a full report of the event. Among them, 80 are from abroad including CNN and BBC.
 
Riyuewan has been recognized as one of the surfers dream breaks in Hainan. Last year, Wanning has been the venue of the annual international surfing event. Through this event, the surfing industry in Wanning is growing and gaining so much popularity in the global market.
