Sanya Phoenix Airport adds 136 flights during National Day holidays
Sanya Phoenix Airport is set to increase the flights during the Golden Week holidays as large number of tourists will be seen traveling to the city, reports 0898.net.
To meet the higher demands of passengers, the airlines companies plan to operate an additional 136 flights, which will mainly concentrate on flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Zhengzhou and Guangzhou.
It is estimated that the daily flights during the holidays will reach 190, an increase of 15% compared over the same period of last year.
To ensure smooth travel for passengers, some airlines will also adjust to large aircraft models to fly hot routes.
By the end of this year, the passenger throughput of Sanya Phoenix Airport is expected to hit 10,000,000.
