Hearing held on ticket price adjustment of Sanya Tianyahaijiao
The scenic spot Tianyahaijiao (The End of the Earth) in Sanya
A hearing was held Thursday on the ticket price adjustment on the scenic spot Tianyahaijiao, according to relevant department.
The hearing invited 14 representatives of Sanya Tourism Association, the People’s Congress of the city, the municipal government, tourist companies, experts and media.
During the hearing, all the representatives agreed to raise the ticket price as they thought current price is relatively low which will hinder the site long-term development.
As for the degree on how much the price should be raised, most of representatives suggested to raise the price from 65 yuan to 100 yuan.
They also pointed out that great efforts should be put on the improvement of infrastructure as well as the service quality.
The hearing, which is the first one held on tourist site in Hainan Province, will help make governmental price decisions more scientific and transparent and promote the democratization and standardization of governmental decisions.
