Several airlines companies in Russia have announced that they will intensify the flights from Russia to Sanya in near future, reports 0898.net.

Transaero Airlines, one of the operating partnership airlines with Sanya Airport, will intensify the number of flights monthly to 74 flights from this November to next March, an increase of 40.6% over the same period of last year.

Besides, Transaero plans to further expand its route network including new flights from Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg to Sanya.

Other airlines company Nordwind Airlines also demonstrates its intention to further increase passenger volumes to Sanya. This year the company plans to nearly double the number of flights from the end of Oct. to next March.

In the first 8 months, the passenger throughput from Russia at Sanya Phoenix International Airport hit 76,000, accounted for 68.7% of international passengers.
