According to the relevant department, the 5th China Rose Show will be held in Sanya in December.

 

The president of WFRS (World Federation of Rose Societies) said experts from 15 countries will be invited to the event to exchange new ideas on the development of the rose-planting industry.

 

Considering its unique tropical climate, Sanya has emerged as an important centre for its technologic contribution to improvement of rose production. Several export-oriented flower companies are operating in Yalong Bay and surrounding areas.

 

Themed with Beauty and Romance, this year’s rose show will provide an opportunity for rose planters and nurserymen home and abroad to display their outstanding flowers and share experience on the cultivation of quality roses.

 

The rose show is jointly-run by the WFRS (World Federation of Rose Societies), Chinese Rose Branch Association and Sanya Municipal Government. At present, the specific dates and venue for the show is still under discussion.
