Team Sanya has announced the selection of Bert-Schandevyl as their last crew member who will join the sailing team as they travel around the world competing in the 2011-2012 Volvo Ocean Race. 
 
Bert Schandevyl, who comes from Belgium, has a wealth of experience in a variety of sailing competitions including the participation in the Dutch Team Delta Lloyd for the 2008-2009 Volvo Ocean Race, Tour de France Sailing Race and 18 Foot Skiff Racing.
 
Bert Schandevyl, 28-year-old, is the team's third crew member being introduced as the race requires teams to have three crew members below 30 years of age.
 
In the coming weeks, the team will have the boat in the water for trial training before they are ready for the race in Alicante of Spain in October.
