Statistics from National Bureau of Statistics showed that prices for Sanya’s second-hand houses in August dropped 2.2% over the same period of last year, recorded the highest in the nation, reports hainan.net.
 
16 cities saw month-on-month declines in new commercial house prices while 30 cities remained unchanged, according to the NBS.

As for the second-hand houses, prices for second-hand houses in 26 cities showed declines and 17 cities maintained the same level in August from July. Meanwhile, the growth rate of second-hand housing prices did not exceed 0.7%.

Five cities reported year-on-year declines in second-hand housing prices including Ningbo, Fuzhou and Sanya.

According to the index, prices for second-hand housing (between 90 sqm and 144 sqm) in Sanya fell 2.4% year on year, recorded the highest in the house trading types.
