2 eco-friendly mobile toilets to open in Sanya by end of September
2 eco-friendly mobile toilets will be opened by the end of September to ease a real problem that residents and tourists are facing in Sanya, and 21 public toilets will be built or rebuilt, according to the local government.
The mobile toilet is modified from a 10-meter-long bus and has 6 squatting platforms, featuring convenience and mobility. Each toilet costs about 2 million yuan.
Unlike the conventional eco-friendly toilet, the mobile toilets can be moved at any time to ease the toilet shortage at any required densely populated space caused by big events held in the city.
By the end of the year, 21 public toilets will be mainly installed at major venues along Hexi Road and Sanya Railway Station, where there are current shortages.
