Portions of Yingbin Overpass Bridge have been constructed as local transport department comes closer to completing the Sanya Loop Expressway, reports 0898.net.

Starting August 2008, the construction project spans a total length of 30.4 km with an investment of nearly 1.7 billion yuan.

As one of the key projects to improve the island road construction, Sanya Loop Expressway will allow people to get quick access to major tourist spots including Yalong Bay, Nanshan Tourism Culture Zone, Tianyahaijiao as well as Phoenix Airport.

Currently, the only construction left is to do the final paving on portions of the roadway and some landscaping, constructors said.
 
The expressway construction is expected to open by the end of this December. Upon its completion, the expressway will alleviate the traffic congestion of inner city effectively.
