A 30-year-old worker has died after a collapse during the demolition of illegal buildings in Phoenix Town on September 1st, reports 0898.net.
 
The collapse occurred on a 12-storey building at around 12:50 pm Thursday, All the third floor area being worked on suddenly fell down to the first floor area.
 
According to firefighters, they were quickly on the scene and the rescue took 4 hours but failed to save the life of the worker, who was trapped in a deformed operation machine under the rubble.
 
The demolition, which was in the final stages, has been stopped for an investigation.
